Trading and investing in securities, derivatives, currencies, and digital assets involves substantial risk, including the possibility of losing your entire invested capital. Only capital you can afford to lose entirely should be placed at risk.
Most individual derivatives traders lose money
SEBI's study of individual traders in the equity derivatives segment, released in September 2024, found that approximately 93% of individual traders incurred net losses over FY2021-22 to FY2023-24. We publish this because you should know it before you begin.
